 The solution’s most valuable feature is the authentication for the consumers.<\/p>\n

 The integration with the other third-party applications is excellent.<\/p>\n

Okta Pros<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enabled MFA to access federated applications as well as the increased user satisfaction through improved provisioning times and more reliable processes. <\/p>\n

This solution allows us to do the provisioning. <\/p>\n

Also the most important for us is the ability to enable and disable features to employees as they onboard and offboard. <\/p>\n

The most valuable aspects of the solution are the integration with the external website’s one-factor authentication.<\/p>\n

ForgeRock Cons <\/strong>\t<\/strong><\/p>\n

Automatic Deployment needs improvement. it could be made easier. I find that it’s quite expensive for just an open-source system. Support is quite expensive. They should improve their solutions by including the reporting. The identity management model needs improvement.<\/p>\n

Okta Cons <\/strong><\/p>\n

SSO and MFA for improved end-user experience, and protection against the password spray attacks, account password self-service.<\/p>\n

 I don’t know if it is possible to make it simpler to use or simpler to understand, but that would be the most important thing to improve. <\/p>\n

The solution lacks an on-premises deployment model so it can’t offer a hybrid solution. <\/p>\n

It would be ideal if the clients had options that weren’t just cloud-based.<\/p>\n

Prospects For Okta and ForgeRock<\/strong><\/p>\n

Okta shares have had an amazing run since the company went public in January 2017. They\u2019ve gone almost steadily up at a 76% annual rate from $23.50 to $152.50 on April 30. While its valuation \u2014 a price to sales ratio of 73 \u2014 is extremely high, the stock will keep rising if Okta reports faster than expected growth and raises its guidance next time it reports.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the investors in ForgeRock\u2019s latest round \u2014 such as KKR Growth \u2014 expect an IPO if the company can sustain its rapid growth.<\/p>\n
