What is Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12?

Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) was introduced in the year 2007, which is an internet-based product used to manage from a single site. It is similar to the ERP products consisting of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Supply-Chain Management (SCM) applications. 

Each application is licensed separately to select different combinations of the business processes. Oracle EBS applications include Oracle Financials, Oracle Logistics, Oracle CRM, Oracle HRMS, Oracle Warehouse Management System, and Oracle Transportation Management.

Oracle Financials:

The Oracle financial applications include Cash Management, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Receivables, Payables, Property Management, Self-service expenses, Treasury, and Financial Analyzer.

Oracle Logistics module is used to allow the users to control and manage the flow and products’ storage within the business. It provides a lot of information for future demand within the warehouse. What is Oracle Fusion Cloud?

The name “Fusion” refers to the infrastructure in the Oracle cloud. The new application developments are designed for subscription services. The Oracle fusion applications are built for the comprehensive tasks of the business, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Human Capital Management (HCM). 

There are many Oracle ESB modules in Fusion applications to categorize different business aspect functionality. The modules include applications for governance, procurement, and supply-chain management. Oracle fusion was announced in the year 2015 but didn’t make the applications until 2011. Later, Siebel Systems, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards incorporated the technologies. The project was hampered due to the integration portions of many applications. It is the most exciting product in the Oracle family.

The upgrade will cause painless when compared to the new ERP. Oracle fusion is considered as the future of Oracle ERP offerings. Many of the ESB shops are found to be embarrassed in the future, but there is no need to make the immediate leap. R12 is a convenient way to control Oracle fusion applications.
